Ian Caddy is a New Zealand artist based in Auckland.

Ian's art, characterized by detailed and precise execution, often explores portraits and urban landscapes. Influenced by icons like Lucian Freud and Jenny Saville, his style integrates his fascination with human creativity across various disciplines. His evolution as an artist reflects a deepening personal connection to his work, focusing less on external validation and more on the intrinsic values of art.

Many of his works are representative of loneliness, solitude  or isolation in some form or other.

A significant milestone in his career was having a painting displayed in the New Zealand Portrait Gallery, affirming the recognition of his artistic endeavors

All prints are supplied signed and unframed.

All prints are produced on acid free quality art paper. All purchases are wrapped in acid free tissue paper and posted in a hardened cardboard tube for safe delivery.
